A spin-out of University College Dublin, Plasma Bound thrives under Nick's leadership, empowering automotive and aerospace OEMs to craft Stronger, Lighter, Leaner, and Cleaner structural assemblies.
With over a decade of dedicated R&D experience, Nick's expertise spans composites, surface engineering, plasma technology, and industry outreach. His relentless commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation has been instrumental in establishing Plasma Bound as a leader in cutting-edge solutions.
Alan Barry,
CEO & Co- Founder
Alan is our CEO and Co-Founder, bringing a wealth of experience from a diverse career spanning two decades. Initially specializing in Life Sciences, Alan expanded his horizons in 2017 into Materials Science and the Transport Sector.
With a strong foundation in operations and project management, Alan has seamlessly navigated both SMEs and corporate giants. Throughout his career he has successfully managed capital programs valued at over US$90 million.
For over 20 years, Alan has been a key player in engineering services, establishing a thriving consultancy focused on pioneering new processes.
