Brendan is an experienced Innovation practitioner with a strong background in engineering and business development. He has previously worked in start-up companies like Lattice Semiconductor and has applied his innovation skills in large corporate sector in the development of new green-field site to enhance international business opportunity at Xilinx. He brings to PlasmaBound key expertise in technology commercialisation, innovation management and international scaling.
John O’Sullivan
Non Executive Director
John has extensive experience in operating and business development roles within the software industry. He has worked at notable companies such as Misys, Kindle Banking Systems, and Kao Infosystems. With a focus on markets, people, technology, and capital, John assists founders and teams in achieving the optimal balance for their businesses and anticipating necessary changes. He is currently involved in investments with companies like S3 Group, Deciphex, and Plasmabound.He has served as an Advisory Board Member for Knowledge Transfer Ireland and currently holds a similar role at Bio-innovate Ireland.
In addition to his various roles and investments, John also serves as a non-executive director at Plasmabound.
Terry Mcgrail

Terry has an extensive career in research and development for the polymers and composites industries at an international level. In 2001, he joined Cytec Engineered Materials Ltd, a world leader in the supply of composites, adhesives, and carbon fibre into aerospace, as the Director of Strategic Research & Technology and in September 2010, he became the Director at the Irish Centre for Composites Research (IComp). Terry has over 85 patents related to composites to his name. He brings to PlasmaBound his industrial and materials expertise, deep network connections, and a great enthusiasm for all things composite!
Stephen Burdock

Stephen has over 10 years’ experience working in financial services. Stephen most recently worked with a leading EIIS fund manager. Previously Stephen worked in a commercial banking role within AIB, focusing on relationship management and business development across various sectors. Stephen is a Qualified Financial Advisor and has experience working with ambitious companies that seek to develop stimulus funding opportunities.
